Tequate’s subject matter experts are deeply embedded in the technologies that enable and augment the world of Broadcast, Telco Cloud, and Converged Services. As part of our research and development for training and consultancy we collaborate with vendors who provide solutions into those ecosystems, with whom we share information, to enable us to demonstrate their solutions within our clients workflows. This information sharing helps our clients to understand the technical capabilities of the solutions they are employing in their workflows, as well as issues surrounding interoperability with other devices and solutions. We are also able to improve the efficiency of the adoption of the solutions we represent, and improve the customer experience for those vendors. When required we also provide training for our vendors clients, to augment their sales and improve customer satisfaction
Matrox
For over 45 years, Matrox has been synonymous with software and hardware solutions for Pro AV/IT, video, and imaging/machine vision applications. Matrox combines engineering excellence with deep industry knowledge to deliver unique solutions for their customers. As a provider of technology related services to clients in Broadcast Media and OTT, we are often asked to utilise Matrox solutions during the live demonstration elements of our training.

Phabrix
PHABRIX is a worldwide leader of innovative cost-effective test and measurement instruments. They produce a range of tools for IP test and measurement, including 4K/UHD + HDR for broadcast to enable faster fault diagnosis via range of both handheld and rack mounted equipment.
NDI
NDI) is a software specification that enables high-definition video to be delivered, received, and communicated over a computer network in a low-latency, high-quality manner. The specification is royalty-free and allows for frame accurate switching, making it suitable for use in live production environments.
Telestream
Telestream specialises in products that make it possible to get video content to any audience regardless of how it is created, distributed, or viewed. Telestream products range from desktop components and cross-platform applications to fully-automated, enterprise-class digital media transcoding and workflow systems. Telestream enables users in a broad range of business environments to leverage the value of their video content. Prism, is probably the best known of their solutions within Broadcast particularly, and Tequate commonly utilise it during hands on monitoring sections of training and consultancy.
Bridgetech
Bridge Technologies creates advanced solutions for protecting service quality in the digital media and telecommunications industries. The company’s monitoring/analysis systems, intelligent switchers and virtual environments help deliver over 20,000 channels to more than 900 million subscribers in 94 countries. Amongst the solutions offered, VB440 is the one Tequate most commonly encounter during hands on
Grass Valley
Grass Valley provides end-to-end solutions for the live media and entertainment industry and work with the media brands, powering their media centres, mobile production units, 24-hour newsrooms, and sports streaming platforms. Tequate often provide demonstrations of how AMPP and Orbit work withour our customers workflows.
Dolby Systems
Founded in 1965, to provide audio noise cancelling for magnetic tapes, Dolby's audiovisual technologies including ATMOS and Dolby Vision power user experences across Film, Broadcast Media, gaming and now music. Tequate provide training on Dolby ATMOS and Vision solutions to many of their clients in broadcast services and consumer manufacturing, including hands on sessions, relating to managing Dolby related data in IP based workflows, Including ATMOS and Dolby Vision, for UHDTV, HDR and Next Generation audio.
Tag Systems
TAG Video Systems provides software-based integrated IP probing, monitoring, visualization and analytics solutions. to assit broadcasters, content creators, and service providers to streamline operations, cut through the complexity of IP media workflows, As TAG Video systems are embedded into many of our clients' workflows, we share knowledge on these are part of our training and consultancy deployments.
ATEME
Ateme is a prominent video compression and delivery solutions provider helping service providers, and streaming platforms boost their viewership and subscriber numbers, power sustainable TV services, improve viewers’ quality of experience, optimize the total cost of ownership of TV/VOD services, and generate new revenue streams based on personalization and ad insertion. Amongst ATEME's solutions, TITAN and KYRION are those we most commonly demonstrate during interoperability related sessions.
Harmonic
Initially incorporated in 1988, Harmonic provides virtualized broadband and video streaming solutions, to assist in transformation for video, broadband and media companies, via multi-gigabit broadband services or simplifying video streaming and broadcast delivery. Tequate are a preferred supplier for training services to Harmonic, and demonstrate Harmonic solutions during our hands on training courses.
DVB
Founded in 1993, the DVB Project is an industry-led consortium of the world’s leading media and technology companies. DVB Working Groups develop specifications for digital television systems, which are turned into standards by international standards bodies, usually ETSI. Our subject matter experts incorporate DVB standards into many of our customised training and consultancy deployments , including most recently DVB-NIP /DVB-I.
HbbTV Consortium
The HbbTV consortium, is a knowledge sharing resource for the Broadcast industry, on HbbTV standards, and aids and promotes adoption across industry. As Tequate has been involved from the earliest days of the standard in deploying training and consultancy for teams within organisation involved in planning and deployment of HbbTV compliant products and services, we share knowledge with HbbTV consortium bilaterally.












Industry Memberships & Trade Affiliations
As well as our industry relationships, Tequate is also members of several industry borides, who provide forums for the discussion of technical and commercial aspects of the industry, workshops, industry events, and other initiatives that exist to explicate and promote the current and emerging Broadcast Media, OTT, Telco and Converged services ecosystems.
SMPTE
The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) founded in 1916 as the Society of Motion Picture Engineers or SMPE is a global professional association of engineers, technologists, and executives working in the media and entertainment industry. As an internationally recognized standards organization, SMPTE has published more than 800 technical standards and related documents for broadcast, filmmaking, digital cinema, audio recording, information technology (IT), and medical imaging.
DPP
The DPP is the media industry’s business network based in London but operating internationally - bringing together companies from the whole media supply chain to share knowledge, solve problems and create business opportunities Tequate in it's position as a trusted technology adviser to industry, attends and participates in the indusdtry events organised by the DPP, including innovation showcases and roundtables, and the major yearly event, the Leaders Briefing in London.
Royal Television Society
Originally founded as the Television Society in 1927, the Society was granted its Royal title in 1966 and the former Prince of Wales became Patron of the RTS in 1997. As an educational charity, it encourages and celebrates work in television and its related fields gives insights into the work that goes into making cutting edge contemporary TV. As a company that exists to promote knowledge across the industries RTS is involved in, and with many clients making up the RTS membership - Tequate is an active member, attending numerous events including awards ceremonies run by RTS.
Safeshark
Safeshark are a cybersecurity compliance specialist, whose solution provides assurance that consumer electronics devices comply with the UK PSTI (Product security and Telcommunications Act) 2022, and European RED (Radio Equipment Directive) which come into force in April 2024, and August 2025 respectively.
As the foremost experts in cybersecurity pertaining to Consumer class devices, Safeshark provide a wealth of knowledge on key areas that may affect Broadcast and Telco businesses involved in the consumer ecosystem.
Our consultants are embedded closely with Safeshark, and share knowledge with them to ensure that our security related courses are always up to date, and are informed by the latest case studies.
Global Media and Entertainment Talent Manifesto
The Global Media and Entertainment Talent Manifesto - is an ititiave to address, the lack of emerging talent entering the Broadcast Media Industry, as well as a lack of diversity. It provides practical workshops to schools and colleges across the UK, to help promote the industry and encourage participation in the future of the industry. Tequate is fully behind this initiative, and is a highly active member of the organisation, leveraging it's numerous industry relationships to encourage participation, and collateral for workshops and proviiding our own subject matter experts for workshop delivery. For us, helping future proofing the industries we work

We are a big believer in the power of partnerships - whilst we have a broad knowledge base, and a deep resevoir of talent within our base of consultants, we do not pretend to be able to offer every service that our client base might require. Climate EQ provides a range of services centred around knowledge transfer on sustainability practice for industry. ClimateEQ are our strategic partners for sustainability related consultancy and training, providing additional services to complement our own more technology-focused offering‘.
Climategames
Climategames exercise powered platform, enables organisatsions and individuals, to gamify their fitness activities, and to contribute to climate action in a meaningful way - and to design challenges engage employees in climate action, whilst promoting a culture of health and wellness. We think it's a great initiative, with a double-edged benefit for organizations and their employees, which we are happy to promote and support.
TVA Group
TVA Group provide live data to programme makers, presenters, channels and stations using dashboards that extract data from Smart TV and STB platforms, and can create live demographics for ad-insertion partners. As our subject matter experts are involved in audience measurement, data analytucs, and addressable advertising, we partner with TVA group, to offer their services to clients who need a platform for live, granular level metrics.
V8 Digital
V8 Digital provide digital marketing consultancy services for B2B, with an emphasis on technology driven products and services. They advise clients, design and implement strategies on marketing automations across a variety of platforms, including mail, linkedin and Google Ads. We will analyse your requirements carefully, and spend as long as it takes to refine and design the perfect solution to fit with you requirements, and the right subject matter expert to deliver the mission critical knowledge you require.
Delivery
We pride ourselves on excellence, and ROI for our clients, and always put our most suitable people forward, to deliver over your preferred platform. If for any reason, we feel we cannot provide exactly what is required we will tell you. We would rather turn business away, that deliver suboptimal solutions.
Aftercare
Our commitment doesn’t end with delivery. We carry out an extensive evaluation and review process post delivery and share this with your stakeholders. If after analysis and review, we feel we have failed to understand or meet your brief, we will provide remedial content – free of charge.

Here at Tequate, we are flexible in our delivery methods, we will work with you to enable you to get the maximum from your course, whilst face to face training, remains the gold standard, especially for technical hands on training, we are expert in remote delivery also.
Live On-Premises
We come to your site (or another site agreed by both parties) and the instructor delivers in person – beneficial for highly technical hands on courses.
Live Virtual
We deliver the course live over an agreed virtual platform, - zoom recommended, but teams or others also possible. Can be used for all courses, technical or non technical.This is often preferred for highly technical courses with hands on elements
Hybrid
Deliver on premises, but using AV equipment and delivery platform for mixed live/remote audience. Requires room for AV setup and connectivity. Can be used for technical or non technical. This is often preferred for highly technical courses with hands on elements.
Recorded
Wherever possible we can provide cloud hosted recordings of your event, for attendees to review content and potentially for others to view course later.
